September Little Art Adventures: Shapes in the Air

Friday, September 28
10:30–11 a.m.

Join us for Little Art Adventures, a program that´s designed just for you and your little ones! The experience will include a storybook circle, creative shape and color play, an art project, and an activity sheet that the whole family can use in the galleries together.

Little Art Adventures takes place on the last Friday of selected months throughout the year and is designed for children ages 3 to 5 and their adult companions. To maintain a quality experience, the museum limits the number of participants and requires pre-registration. Click here to register.
More about...Shapes in the Air

At the Little Art Adventures program in September, participants will be inspired by a work of art by Gego, an artist from Venezuela. The group will listen to storybooks, including The Very Busy Spider by Eric Carle, and make connections to a sculpture by Gego through interactive hands-on circle activities. Colored wire will be used for an art project, and families will receive an "In Search of..." activity that they can use to explore art in the museum, as a family.
