Houston Welcomes the 2013 Southwest Sectional Conference and Qur'anic Symposium. 

Featuring empowring workshops for youth & adults as well as the Qur'anic Symposium which will seek to plant seeds designed to:

• Express the value of the immeasurable contributions of past community leaders and scholars
• Identify the issues and stumbling blocks for our present day ummah
• Work towards the preservation of our community and its future progression by formulating directions, goals, and objectives 

Over 25 Dynamic Imams will give Jumu'ah Khutbahs at Local Houston Masaajid

 In conjunction with the Southwest Sectional Conference and Qur'anic Symposium, the Day of Unity will feature over 25 dyanmic speakers giving Jumu'ah Khutbahs at over 25 local Houston Masaajid. The topic for Jumu’ah is, "Unity in the Community" and the foundation for the Jumu'ah Khutbah will be Surah 3 Ayat 103 "Hold tight to the rope of Allah and don't seperate yourselves"
