I work for a major oil field service provider in Texas, USA. We're looking for entry level electrical and computer engineers. I know there are some decent recent grads out there looking for a job. Pay is good, benefits are good.
What are we looking for? Well it's entry level - so we're obviously not looking for seasoned experts. We are looking for sharp individuals who have the enthusiasm to learn and figure out stuff. A engineering mind - being able to ask smart questions and hone into a solution. A decent grasp of basic concepts, and first principles. Hardware, digital electronics, fpgas, embedded systems, analog electronics, ... we do everything. The magic smoke is alive and well where I work. If we not breaking something every now and then, we're probably not working hard enough or pushing the boundaries far enough. Often, we end up working out of datasheet specifications.
Shoot me an email at miscelaneousjunk AT gmail DOT com (yes, the spelling of misc.. is wrong, I know!). Please put [RESUME] in the subject.
