Join The Maram Foundation on Saturday, July 20 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 6:30 pm - Galleria (@ I-10 & 610)  at our Ramadan Benefit Dinner for Syrian Refugees and IDPs and help make a difference in the lives of those in need.

In a short time we have accomplished so much due, in large part, to the efforts of our wonderful Houston community.  In October 2012 we started as an intiative to help a few hundred internally displaced persons.  Today,  we provide assistance to the more than 28,000 IDPs in the Olive Tree camp and beyond. Your kindness and generosity  installed a water storage tank for drinking and bathing needs at the camp, built a women's center for education and self-reliance, delivered school supplies and built a school, and provides a hot meal to over 20,000 people daily.

Your kind donations have also allowed us to push our efforts outside the camp and further inside Syria to provide assistance to people in the devasted towns and cities.  We deliver food, water, and medical supplies to many of the liberated towns inside Syria. Our team also delivers wheel chairs and medical aid to the injured and disabled, and much much more.

Please join us this Ramadan to not only see what your support has provided in the past but also to see the projects your continued support will provide for the future. Together we can provide a better tomorrow for those in need.

Our director, Yakzan Shishakly, will be our speaker and sharing his experiences from his last year on the ground and discussing the humanitarian crisis and what can be done to help.

Radwaan Saleh (formerly with Life for Relief and Development) will be our guest speaker.
