FIRST ANNUAL HOUSTON UNITED WALK
JUNE 22, 2013 FROM 8:30AM - 10:00AM

The concept behind this unity walk was originally proposed by the Houston Muslim Community as an event for all people of good will. The purpose of this event is to build on the amazing fellowship of our city and to demonstrate through action that the diverse people of our city can and do come together for the common good.

As the catalyst of this event, the Houston Muslim Community is covering all the logistical costs so that 100% of every participant's contributions and donations will be applied to the fund we have partnered with managed by National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

The event will be outside of the City Hall Annex, at 900 Bagby St Houston, TX 77002. The building is located at the corner of Walker Street and Bagby Street. Limited metered public parking is available behind the Annex (enter from Walker Street). Nearby garages with prices ranging from $6-$12 are available to the public.
