ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
IMAM KHALID LATIF is Executive Director and Chaplain (Imam) for the Islamic Center at New York University (NYU) - the first Muslim chaplain at NYU. He was nominated chaplain by Mayor Bloomberg for the New York City Police Department and named one of the 500 most influential Muslims in the world in 2010 by Georgetown University's Prince Alwaleed Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding.
JOE BRADFORD is a student of Islamic studies, having sought knowledge traditionally and academically for the past 20 years. He currently lives and works in Houston, TX and is active in several community education initiatives. He holds a Master's degree in Islamic Sciences from the University of Medina.
