CAIR Texas is organizing a Blood Drive on September 6th from 1pm - 5:30pm as part of a nation-wide campaign "Muslims for Life: Blood Drive Campaign To Commemorate 9/11" with the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. The nation-wide goal is to collect 10,000 units of blood on or around September 11th.

There will be a Gulf Coast Blood Center Coach to collect blood on September 6th from 1pm - 5:30pm at 5445 Almeda Road, Houston, Texas, 77004 (John. B. Coleman Professional Building also Chase Bank Building).

Please be reminded to eat iron-rich foods including: Red meat, Liver, Poultry, Egg yolk, Cereals, breads, Dark green leafy vegetables, Dried beans - kidney, pinto, soy, Dark molasses, and Dried fruits (raisins, apricots, peaches).
