Questions about buying houses through Islamic mortgage are amongst the top questions we receive on daily basis at the Assembly of Muslim Jurists in America (AMJA). We would venture to guess that your community has the same concerns. That is why AMJA's 11th Annual Imams Conference will dive deep into this topic with academic and practical discussions about it's theories behind Islamic finance and it's practice in our modern day.

This conference is designed only for Imams and Students of Islamic Knowledge, so invite the religious leader of your community to register for it.The conference will take place on February 21st to February 23rd in Dallas, Texas, insha'Allah. The title of this year’s conference is “Islamic Home Finance in the West.”

Thus far, Guidance, Devon Bank, and University Islamic Finance have agreed to attend and participate in this year's conference. We are also in the final steps of confirming LARIBA. Each of the confirmed companies will have representatives from its Shariah Boards present to participate in the discussions and answer any of your questions. Moreover, the finance models presented will include Marabaha Contracts, Musharaka Contracts, and Ijara Loans.

Registration is going to be close on February 5th or when we reach our capacity, whichever comes first.
Once you register online, you will receive an email with the hotel and airport information. In order to attend the entire conference, we request that you arrive on Friday, February 21st, and depart on Sunday, February 23rd, after 6pm.

The admission fee is $50, which will include the admission fee, food as well as accommodation in a hotel room with another Imam for two nights. You can request to room by yourself by indicating so while registering online and by paying $130.
