ID#: 1638 Apr 26 : Houston : Generation Gap by Crescent Youth

Generation Gap is an interactive debate in talk-show format that aims to illustrate the differences between the generations and start the discussions that will lead towards resolution of issues that are considered taboo in many cultures.

Islam teaches us the importance of open communication - especially between the youth and their parents - BOTH WAYS. 

Unfortunately there seems to always be a barrier so these important issues either don't get discussed, or get brushed under the rug/dismissed. Why? Because one or both parties are UNCOMFORTABLE having an open conversation!

Generation gap hopes to raise these topics to the surface and contribute to the conversation with thought-provoking statements and questions.

Many parents just want to UNDERSTAND what is going on in their kids' lives.. Why do they act the way they do? Generation Gap will help break down the barriers of communication!

Let's bridge the gap of understanding between generations!
