Assalamualikum,

Houston Methodist Hospital will be offering  training to interested individuals in the Houston Muslim Community to become Spiritual Care Volunteers. A Spiritual Care Volunteer is one who will be available to provide spiritual support to patients of Houston Methodist Hospital at their request.

This is an amazing opportunity for anyone who may be interested. I’ve included a link below for any interested individuals to fill out to receive the application.

The training will comprise of 3 days from 6-9 pm over the course of 3 weeks. It will be hosted at Houston Methodist Hospital in the Medical Center. YOU WILL HAVE TO ATTEND ALL 3 DAYS TO RECEIVE THE CERTIFICATION. The dates are as follows:

Thursday, October 9, 2014   6 - 9 pm

Thursday, October 16, 2014 6 - 9 pm

Thursday, October 23, 2014 6 - 9 pm
