Back to School Events

In August, Be Covered Texas is partnering with the Caring for Children Foundation's Care Van Program on Back-to-School events in the Dallas and Houston areas. We will be onsite at these events to provide materials and information to help you learn more about your coverage and how to get the most value from your benefits. Additionally, nurses from the Care Van team will be offering free immunizations to children. We are excited to attend the events listed below and look forward to seeing you there.

Be Covered Campaign Updates

The BeCoveredTexas.org website has a new look with tools and new materials designed to promote healthy living and a healthier community. Please feel free to share and link to any of our site's resources to help your colleagues, friends and family get the information they need.

Materials Rollout

We have created a new series of educational materials meant to help people understand their benefits and connect to primary care and the preventive services
that are right for them. We also have a series of fact sheets to let people know
about certain events in their lives that could potentially qualify them for new
health care coverage.

All of the materials can be downloaded on the BeCoveredTexas.org website. The new materials will also be available at Back-to-School events.
