Humanitarian

The United Nations calls them "the world's most persecuted minority." They live under a never-ending struggle to survive; humans with no human rights:

The Rohingya of Burma.

For decades, hundred of thousands of Rohingya Muslims have been victims of persecution, violence, and human trafficking. They face a mounting humanitarian disaster, and due to unlivable conditions in squalid camps or stranded at sea where access to food and medicine is scarce, they are struggling to survive. The ethnic Rohingya are fast-becoming one of the world's forgotten people and are in desperate need of emergency food, shelter, medical aid, and YOUR help.

Every year, United Muslim Relief Houston hosts a city-wide dodgeball tournament to raise funds for a humanitarian cause. This year, we're teaming up with Rise for Rohingya, a group of students who work to raise awareness about the displaced Rohingya, to focus our efforts on the Rohingya of western Burma. All proceeds raised will go to United Muslim Relief's operations in Burma, which provide food, water, clothing, and shelter to alleviate the Rohingya's suffering.

We want YOU!
