Come hear all the updates from Syrian American Council Houston Chapter. Together we'll organize advocacy efforts to help Syria and refugees. 

SAC National speaker will join from DC to provide advocacy training to the Houston community.

SPEAKER UPDATE:

Suzanne Meriden is the Director of Operations at SAC where she manages day to day operations. She has been a member of SAC since 2013, and was most recently the Government Relations Chair for SAC-LA where she successfully lobbied congress members in her area. Her past lobbying experience has produced a bill sponsored by several congress members in the state of California.

Suzanne has held multiple retail corporate management and operations management positions with American and Japanese retailers with focus on hiring, training and store logistics.

She is fluent in English, French, Arabic, and Turkish and holds a B.A. in International Business from California State University.
