SISTERS SEWING CIRCLE

Do you like to sew?  Want to meet New Sisters?  Then join us for this fun event!  Great for Unfinished Projects!  Please share & bring a friend!

Location: ISGH River Oaks Islamic Center - 3110 Eastside Street, Houston 77098

Date:  (Sat) March 5th 

Time Frame:  10:30am-1:30pm

Details:  This event is for adult sisters + young ladies (ages 10-17) accompanied by an adult.  This is not a class so you must already know sewing basics.  Please bring your sewing machine, any sewing supplies you may need & an extension cord.  We will meet on the first Saturday of each month.  You come to the sewing days you want to come to.  You are not required to attend every one unless you want to.  :)

Please bring projects that are according to your own personal skill level that you can work on independently:  

• Absolute Beginner
• Beginner with some sewing experience
• Intermediate (this is where sewing clothing begins)
• Advanced

Local Sewing Classes: There are lots of people and places including fabric/quilt shops that teach sewing classes.  Many of these classes are for sewing clothing.  If you need a list of classes, let me know and I can help you find what you need according to what you are wanting to sew.

I will bring: 

• 2 large cuttings mats
• 3 cutting rulers
• a rotary cutter
• iron
• 2 ironing mats
• thread tree with about 40 different colors
