REVIVING THE LOST LEGACY OF ISLAMIC MANNERS
A famous Farsi poet wrote "Ba adab, ba naseeb, be adab be naseeb" - be courteous, be blessed - lack courtesy and be deprived.
A narration from the blessed Prophet Muhammad says, "Indeed, I was sent only to perfect noble character," thus establishing the centrality of character to religious expression.
This course will cover essential aspects of virtuous conduct as they relate to kindness to parents, loyalty to friends, nearness with kin, respect with elders, and support for neighbors. It will also cover other aspects of daily life such as proper conduct in visiting and hosting others, conversing, consoling others, and even ways to increase fraternal bonds.
