2014 for The Race Against Violence!
Feb. 22, 2014 join us at "The Race Against Violence," a a 5k Run, a Kids Fun Run and a Family Walk which benefits the Houston Area Women's Center.
Insha'Allah you'll have a good time, get some exercise and support a great cause! To make it easy we've started a team called "Muslims Against Domestic Violence" and you can join us here:
WHERE: AIG Campus at Whole Foods Montrose located at: 701 Waugh Dr. Houston, TX 77019
COURSE: This 5 kilometer (3.1 miles) race is sanctioned and certified. Run begins on Waugh Dr., just south of W. Dallas, proceeds north on Waugh, east on Allen Parkway (inbound), u-turns at Crosby, continues west on Allen Parkway (outbound), south on Waugh, and concludes on Waugh Dr. at D'Amico St. Strollers are permitted in the family walk and at the back of the competitive walk. Pets, skates, bikes, and skateboards are prohibited.

- Silver Star 5K - Timed - Registration Fee: $35.00
- Silver Star 5K - Non Timed - Registration Fee: $35.00
- 5K - Timed - Registration Fee: $25.00
- 5K - Non Timed - Registration Fee: $25.00
- Student - Timed - Registration Fee: $20.00
- Student - Non Timed - Registration Fee: $20.00
- Kids K - Registration Fee: $15.00
- Stay in Bed - Registration Fee: $25.00
