His research focuses on usul al-fiqh and theology. His current interests include identity formation in the American-Muslim community, interfaith relations, Islamic reform movements, and community leadership and development with a focus on youth.

Where: Masjid As-Sabireen.

When: Friday, June 13th, 2014 (Maghrib - Isha Salat)

Why?

The story of Musa (AS) teaches us the importance of trusting Allah; it demonstrates that Allah’s plans will overcome any triumph, test, or trial, and it shows us that there is no relief from the torments of this world except with remembrance and through seeking nearness to Allah. Reading and studying the life of Musa (AS) reveals that Allah can replace weakness with strength and failure with victory; and that Allah supports the righteous from sources we can barely imagine.
