"Do you see the seed that you sow in the ground?" - Holy Qur'an
Truly, God will not change the condition of a people until they change what is within themselves (Qur’an 13:11). Faith requires constant introspection and transformation in the journey toward a more perfect relationship with God.
Ramadan is the springtime of the believer - come learn how, regardless of where you are or where you have been, you can sow the seeds which will bring spiritual nourishment to your life all year.
Gain key spiritual insights and practical advice on how to make real and positive change in your life. Learn about lessons from the life of the Prophet (s) to focus on improving your moral outlook - most specifically, some suggestions on how to become more self-aware, more humble and more compassionate for others.
In addition, we will discuss the meaning of being an American Muslim in 2014 - can our "micro" actions lead to "macro" changes in perceptions of Islam in the West?
