It's time to clean up and think green!

The Masjid belongs to each of us! Come out on Saturday, September 12th (8-11am) and be part of this clean-up effort.

What: Join ROIC as we clean-up our Masjid (inside and out) and make it shine!
When: Saturday, September 12th, 8-11am, come for an hour, two or three
Where: 3110 Eastside St, Houston, TX 77098 (inside and out)
What we'll be doing: Alhamdulilah the Masjid is well maintained, but we aim to do a deep cleaning inside the Masjid (all those hard to reach crevices) and outside (by raking out bushes, collecting trash, etc). We'll also be launching the ROIC ‘GREEN TEAM' (GT) to help clean, beautify and inculcate good/practical environmental policies on a regular basis.*
How we'll be doing it: We'll be working in small teams (all children, under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult); if you have a preference for outside/inside we'll try to honor that (please let us know when you RSVP by Sept 9th).
Supplies: Please bring rakes, sheers (marked with your name) for outside work. We'll also need extra cleaning supplies. Please indicate if you're willing to contribute to cleaning supplies when you RSVP. We'll be buying eco-friendly supplies before the event inshaAllah.
What to wear: Comfortable clothes & shoes (that can get dirty as you clean); also a water bottle to hydrate.

Light Breakfast will be available: Coffee & Bagels

ROIC Green Team

The ROIC Green Team (GT) will meet approximately every 6-8 weeks and will also engage in planting/beautification projects inshaAllah.
