Do you like to sew?  Want to meet New Sisters?  Then join us for this fun event!  Great for Unfinished Projects!  Please share & bring a friend!

Location: ISGH River Oaks Islamic Center - 3110 Eastside Street, Houston 77098

Date:  (Sat) February 6th

Time Frame:  10:30am-1:30pm

Details:  This event is for adult sisters (please leave younger children at home).  This is not a class so you must already know sewing basics.  Please bring your sewing machine, any sewing supplies you may need & an extension cord.  We will meet twice a month (1st Sat & 3rd Sun).  You come to the sewing days you want to come to.  You are not required to attend every one unless you want to.  :)

Please bring projects that are according to your own personal skill level that you can work on independently:  

• Absolute Beginner
• Beginner with some sewing experience
• Intermediate (this is where sewing clothing begins)
• Advanced

Local Sewing Classes: There are lots of people and places including fabric/quilt shops that teach sewing classes.  Many of these classes are for sewing clothing.  If you need a list of classes, let me know and I can help you find what you need according to what you are wanting to sew.

I will bring: 

• 2 large cuttings mats
• 3 cutting rulers
• a rotary cutter
• iron
• 2 ironing mats
• thread tree with about 40 different colors
